This public service ad series increases awareness of the devastation of serious illness without insurance coverage. It uses parody to convey and compare the desperation of a lack of appropriate healthcare due to it’s high cost -  or financial hardship due to it’s high cost - to a scary balancing act, like walking on a tightrope without a safety net. The basic illustration style helps to convey an “every man” sense of inclusivity about this problem - it is an issue that doesn’t target only certain individuals or groups.
